Presence and Absence

Projection was from a lo-tech Overhead Projector with acetate of charcoal line drawings projected onto wall and echoed with oak sticks. Light bulb placed on OHP created circular shadows on plinth, and shadow on original drawing. Sculpture fell apart in the lift on the way up but I like it’s broken organic form against the geometric shapes. Key words were authenticity, the light was the raw OHP light, charcoal and concrete were raw materials.
